This is an NV structure measuring 10m wide x 21m long with 4m side wall. It was installed with a Rubb manufactured 4xm x 4m steel folding door. The customer, Vestnes Innreding AS in Florø needed the structure for the business with shipyards in the area. Vestnes Innreding AS specializes in supplying interior fixed and movable furniture for ships and offices around Norway. With their base in Florø they are near several large shipyards on the West coast of Norway.

Rubb Hall AS supplied a 15m wide x 33m long with 3m side wall structure for Bergen Group’s large offshore oil yard at Hanøytangen just outside Bergen. The Bergen Group is one of Norway’s largest shipyard groups that specializes in offshore supply vessels as well as oil platform related business. The Bergen Group needed a Rubbhall for a fixed period of time and Rubb Hall AS was happy to rent out this structure to provide operations flexibility for this valued customer.

These are pictures of a Rubb THAB shelter measuring 10m wide x 24m long with 3.35m side wall. This shelter was purchased by UNHCR – Damascus, but is was erected by a Rubb crew at Al-Tawil Refugee camp in Iraq. This THAB shelter is a standard relief agency sized structure and it can store up to 500 tonnes of bagged grain. Frode Gjøen our International Sales Director and a Rubb erection supervisor traveled to Iraq to help with the installation of this structure.

The above 10m wide x 15m long NV-type building was supplied by Rubb Hall AS to SKJØNDAL Slipp. Rubb Hall AS also supplied lighting and dehumidifier for this building and installed a 4m x 4m steel folding door. The building is used for storage of large ship engines which are in the shipyard for service.
SKJØNDAL Slipp repairs and maintains ship engines, particularly fast diesel engines, and is part of the “Bergen Group” which own many shipyards in Norway. SKJØNDAL Slip and partner company Mek Verksted AS are located very close to the Bergen city center and have their own deep sea harbor to handle ships up to 80m in length and 4m deep. The company has a slipway that can handle vessels up to 44m in length and 12,5 m wide.

The type NV Rubb Hall pictured to the right was supplied by the now independent Rubb Hall AS in Norway to Minde Trelast AS. After 40 years of distributing structures through W. Giertsen AS, Rubb Hall now provides fabric buildings and shelters directly to the customer.
Minde Trelast AS is located near the city centre in Bergen, Norway and is a wholesaler for building products, mainly timber. Their site already has a THA Rubb Shelter; the new NV shelter is 12m wide x 33m long x 4m side wall and will be used for storage. The NV Rubb Hall has an electrically operated Crawford doors measuring 4m x 4m in each end.
