Door Type: Custom Rubb Industrial Door

This custom door by Rubb Building Systems' Poland division, Viking, features:

• Double plated hot-dipped galvanized steel profiles with 50 mm. insulation
• Rubber gaskets between blades, and rubber seal between bottom of door and floor
• ASSA high-security stainless steel locks
• Secure lock in bottom of door against floor to prevent wind damages
• Available double insulated Polycarbonate windows
• Flat-Packed for easy and cheap transportation to site
• Easy "one hand" operation of door

Door Type: Fabric-clad bi-parting sliding door panels

Door panels are mounted external to the structure and are suspended from a top track. Bottom of door is restrained by guide wheels.

L3 Com - Waco, Texas

Door Type: Norco Hangar Door
Door Size: 155' x 30'

6-panel steel-clad door system is supported by embedded rails at the bottom, and guide beams at the top. The left and right door halves are each motor-controlled and cabled so each trio of panels open and close simultaneously. There is a steel rollup door that the top center of the hangar door to fit the aircraft tail into the building.

Public Service of New Hampshire - Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Door panels are mounted to the exterior of round ash silos. The doors are suspended from curved tracks at the top and are restrained by guide wheels at the bottom.

Fabric-faced door is divided into three sections that accordion-fold vertically. The center mullions are then tilted up to provide an unobstructed opening.

Federal Marine Terminal - Eastport, Maine

This popular door has been used on hundreds of buildings all over the world, in all types of buildings and climates. The door coils into a compact roll at the top of the door. Doors can be motorized or manually operated.

Battelle - Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah

Door Type: Cookson Roller Shutter Door
Door Size: 36' x 45', 36' x 35'

One of the largest doors of its type, these doors are used to restrict airflow at each end of the building, which acts as a giant wind tunnel for testing.

Disney - Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Door Type: Fabric-Clad Panel Door
Door Size: 40' x 40'

This tall fabric-clad panel door has four panels that part to the sides. It is suspended from rails at the top and the bottom is held in place with rollers mounted to the concrete floor. The tall, thin door panels are mounted to the outside face of the building and do not extend past the sides.

Intermarine - Savannah, Georgia

Door Type: Fabric stacking panel door

This door consists of five individual panels that slide between two vertical guide beams. The panels are lifted in and out with a crane, and include fittings so they can be stacked atop one another when removed. Ladders are built onto the face of the doors so the doors can be latched together when in place.

Northrup Grumman - Newport News, Virginia

Door Type: Variable Orifice Zipper Door
Door Size: 36' x 44'

These fabric doors consist of eleven fabric wedges that are zippered together. The zipper seams are oriented so that a submarine hull can protrude through the building and the doors can be sealed around the hull at varying diameters.
