The AVC profile was developed in America in response to demand for larger spans for use as hangars and multi-use sports structures. It contains similar design elements as the BVE profile, with a redesigned flange connection between spans. The AVC span can be altered as required for specific interior clearance requirements, such as tail and wingtip clearances for hangar use.
